York St John ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 1841 แรกเริ่มชื่อ York Diocesan Training School และเปลี่ยนมาเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเต็มตัวในปี 2006 ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนอยู่ประมาณ 6,150 คน นักเรียนต่างชาติมีไม่เกิน 10% จาก 60 ประเทศทั่วโลก และมีนักเรียนไทยเพียง 20 คน

Location : มหาวิทยาลัยตั้งอยู่ใจกลางเมือง York ห่างจาก London ประมาณ 1.5 ชม. และห่าจาก Manchester ประมาณ 1.5 ชม. โดยรถไฟ

เกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร เรียนต่อปริญญาโท

  • วุฒิปริญญาตรี GPA อย่างน้อย 2.50
  • สำหรับคนที่ได้เกรดเฉลี่ยไม่ถึง สามารถเลือกเรียนคอร์ส Pre-Master เพื่อปรับพื้นฐานได้ 3-9 เดือน
  • ผู้สมัครต้องมีผลคะแนน IELTS 6.5  ยกเว้น เรียนต่อปริญญาโท คณะ ( MA in Business Management, Composition, Creative Sound & Media Technology, Dance, Performance(Music),  Design, Fine Art, Fashion Portfolio, Visual Communication ) ใช้ผลคะแนน IELTS 6.0
